Restoring Elegance to Orpheum Theater Seating
James took on a challenging furniture restoration project for The Orpheum Theater, bringing new life to its historic seating. The restoration involved missing piece fabrication, metallic paint, gold leaf detailing, glaze work, and new upholstery to preserve the original elegance. Theatergoers can now experience the beauty and craftsmanship firsthand—be sure to take a seat and enjoy the artistry at your next show!
Bringing New Life to Historic benches
James Bond restored the hand-carved oak benches at The Orpheum Theater, preserving their historic beauty and structural integrity. In severe disrepair, each bench required extensive stabilization, including over 50 five-inch finish screws to reinforce the craftsmanship. Now fully restored, these stunning pieces are once again ready to be enjoyed by theatergoers.
